North
Cliffs, cornfields, the seasons of an Atlantic summer.
— Text
The North, for me, is not just geography: it's a season and a state of mind. This series gathers scattered images between Cantabria, the Basque Country and the interior of Guadalajara, ordered by texture rather than by map. A cliff over an empty beach, a cornfield where a hand holds a white-grained cob, the cloister of Carabias with its worn Romanesque columns, the broom in flower against the six o'clock golden light. They are all small photographs — in intention, not in quality — of a country you drive through with the windows down.
